Will it fit my LEGO® sets?
The TRĀ has a white 32×32 LEGO® compatible baseplate permanently built into the tray, a clean and seamless surface that will never shift while you build. It's designed to complement most LEGO® sets. Overall size: 11" × 15" × 2" at about 2 lbs. Big enough to build on, light enough for a child's lap.
Where do you ship, and how fast?
We currently ship within the USA only. Every order ships from Arizona within 2 business days, with free U.S. shipping, and typically arrives in 3 to 7 business days.
What's the guarantee?
Build one set on your TRĀ. If you don't love it, return it within 30 days for a full refund. We even send you a prepaid return label.
What ages is it for?
Builders of all ages: kids, parents, grandparents, and AFOLs. (LEGO® sets with small parts are not suitable for children under 3.)
How big of a set can I build on it?
Most LEGO® sets fit comfortably on the 32×32 baseplate. The largest complete build we've seen on a TRĀ to date: the mighty Bowser set! Anything bigger than Bowser gets tough to fit as one piece, but big builds work great in sections, built one stage at a time in the tray and assembled at the finish line.
Can I pause a build halfway?
That's the whole idea. The lid slides snugly into place over the storage compartments, so loose pieces stay put while you carry the tray from room to room. (Built sections stay clicked to the baseplate; we still recommend carrying it flat.)
Is this an official LEGO® product?
No, the TRĀ is an independent, family designed tray that's compatible with LEGO® bricks. LEGO® does not sponsor or endorse it; we're just a family who loves building.
Does it make a good gift?
It's our customers' favorite use, grandparents especially. One tray per builder ends the sharing arguments (mostly).
How do I care for the wood?
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. No soaking and no dishwasher. Every few months, rub in a food grade wood conditioner (butcher block conditioner works great) to keep the wood nourished and prevent cracking. Treat it like the furniture it secretly is.
My order arrived damaged, what do I do?
Every TRĀ is inspected before it ships, but carriers happen. Email us right away at info@thetracompany.com with your order number and photos of the box and the damage, and we'll make it right promptly.
